while driving to the gas station my car suddenly lost power and crept to a stop. i assumed it had ran out of gas but after putting a minimum of ten gallons with a gas can it still wouldnt start again. it cranks but sounds like it isnt catching a spark and after repetitive attempts to turn the key the battery would die out. unscrewing a few plastic coverings in attempts to find the cause of the starting failure i found that the air intake hose had completely severed at one end. now im not sure if the car turned off because the hose broke while in motion not from lack of gas and the result caused an electrical issue or if the air intake hose would have any thing to do with it not catching when turning over

Which Air intake hose?
1. The one on the intake of the Air Cleaner.
2. The one from the Air Cleaner to the Turbo.
3. The one from the Turbo to the Radiator.
4. The one from the Radiator to the Throttle body.

Pictures would be helpful.
