Does anyone have the proper fuel and evap diagrams and routing schematic for my car?.
the original hard lines are rotten all around, I've tried to source them from scrapyards but apparently there are a couple variations seeing as how any Ive gotten dont look similar to what I have. The car is a 98 V70 AWD
Vin is YV1LW5642W2416156. (It's Green if that helps)
Dealer service or production pictures welcome.
It's in great shape but I can't get parts like this.
My Mini Cooper hates this weather and is awful in this NE weather. It belongs in the garage where it's spent its last 12 winters.
Thanks all

The parts drawings are hard to decipher as they do not show a clear break down of the system.
What I can tell you is 97 850 AWD (Canada only I understand in NA) and 98 V/S AWD and 98 V70XC had a different evap system and parts of the fuel system to 99- years.
Many of the parts are now no longer available and many junkyards are reluctant to pull them as they are either rotten or it takes 3-4 hour to pull the tank on a good day.
I would suggest you try west coast junkyards as there is a chance they may have solid parts you can get but there is a chance the rubber parts are bad.
I ran a thread a few years ago with pictures of the fuel system but my car is a 00 V70R.
The main differences are the expansion tank above the rear axle and also the positioning of the fuel system tray.
Neil.

Thanks, can you send some of your pics if possible.

It seems like there are a variety of mixed components in the evap, and fuel systems. Sort of like a hodgepodge of leftovers. Is it a first year thing? Maybe I'll just go plastic all the way, the metal has so many bends and kinks I,m having a heck of a time making things match.
As far as west coast searches, I've done full country searches. Found close parts in Germany, but almost a grand for a couple pieces of pipe is a bit much.
Thanks
David

You have probably seen this before:
https://www.oemvolvopartsdirect.com/v-1 ... components
They also have an EVAP diagram somewhere. My 1998 had a cracked vacuum line by the right rear wheel which I replaced with a piece of rubber fuel line. Watch out for a cracked 'J' hose.

If I had a larger garage, I could have more Volvos.
