Water Leak into Heater Fan Housing

Good evening, all. 'Looking for some ideas.

I'm on my 2nd climate control fan in a couple months. I have water pooling in the shallow area of the ducting just below where the barrel fan spins. It's flipping water up into the cage on the windings and the shaft. No water is pooling in the footwell. There's just enough water in the duct to be dry by the time I get to work (about a 3/4 hour drive) with the heat on (I can hear the water getting kicked up when the fan's on low) when I start, it's gone about halfway to work.

We've been having many inches of rain over the past few months. 5 inches just in the past 48 hours.

I've checked the drains below the cowl inside the engine bay (I clean them after the leaves are down in autumn and it's still clear) and the windshield seal (although I'm not sure where I might see a spot for a leak). I even pulled the cowl and checked the fresh air door next to the fan and made sure the seal was intact (and swapped the cabin filter while I was at it).

Any ideas? Maybe from the passenger side wiper? If so, how would I seal it? I also have a sunroof. It seals tight, but are there drains close to where it could pool in the duct?

See if yu can get to the climate unit drain and unclogged it so that your unit can Dry out.

Remove the footboard trim and look for the rubber hose dropping onto the hump between the driver seats
