Just got done doing front and rear hydraulic engine mounts today (I think). What a RPITA. Here's my problem. Buttoned everything back up and underneath the car I found the cable and swage for the front one on the ground. One end of cable came out of the swage. I assume this cable stops the mount from expanding too much from engine torque ? Can car be driven like that? Thanks for any input.

I think those cables keep the engine from intruding into the passenger compartment in an accident
