replaced front sensors on s70 . light went out but now on a slow turn the abs pump comes on. this lasted about 1 hour then light came back on. any ideas folks?

I don't know about 99 system, but two things on the earlier system are true: its rarely the sensor/ don't use any aftermarket sensor.
