ECT is known to cause hard starting and is often overlooked. Do you have a CEL, pull any codes? What shape are the plugs and coil packs in?

what ECT????? no code....plug are ok ,fuel pressure at 47psi.but I found the cam sensor housing broking sensor just hanging on.and someone installed new crank sensor that don't fit correctly they broke off the mount hole so bolt hole can line up.and the last thing I found they install a new immobilizer ring but plug connector is butted together......................oh what funnn

Engine coolant temperature sensor.

I think you now know why the guy said he think it needs a key. It would have been nicer if he had just told you he’s messed up the immobilizer

I have been living under the impression immobilizer = crank, no start, no spark, no fuel.

VIDA should tell you if the immobilizer is seeing and successfully communicating with the key.
