Hot or Cold Heat Only

So, on this 1990-240 I bought recently, the temp-lever can not modulate heat output...its either hot, or cold.

Would it be the water-valve, or a cabling issue?

A royal PIA to fix, I suspect

I'd start by searching for the other end of that cable.

I have a feeling its a cable issue....and maybe a PIA.

Great News...when on, its real heat coming out...so the heater core is working fine:-)

Got to remove that "dash" if cable needs to be replaced.
