Found this in trunk under the spare . Have no idea where it belongs seems to be a air duct????

I 'm guessing HVAC duct under the carpet of a seat.

My first impression is a ventilation pipe for the ECM box.
Inspect it for a Volvo part number, then post the part number and any other markings you find.

+1 on ECM box vent pipe.

As above, check for any markings but also look at the box's outboard (distal) side for a hole which'd accept the pipe.

I like the "tt" abbreviation (for "to the") in your CHMSL.

checked ECM nothing there. Part # is no help as numbers do not match any listing found. Thanks for the "tt" bit, that is for my Audi TT that is quite worked

I’ve got a recollection of a pipe in that shape that vents the windshield washer reservoir...someone look under hood there, please

It goes somewhere near the front of the engine. Did you look at the underside of the ECM box?
