Accelerator pedal position sensor faulty OBD code and reduced engine power, but mechanic says sensor is fine...?

Post by Raindog92 »

Hello,

Like the title states since buying this car a few months ago with 94k miles I've gotten an OBD code for faulty APP sensor and subsequent reduced engine power about three or four times. After clearing the code in the past the issue usually goes away for a bit then comes back eventually. I took it in to a Volvo dealership today and they said they found nothing wrong with the sensor and they found no other issues. Any ideas what may cause this if it's not the APP sensor?

Thank you in advance!
