2005 XC70 Door lock module plug and play?

My XC70 has had flickering interior lights and a passenger rear door open message since I bought it 3 years ago. It's worse when it's cold and getting worse now. The message on the dash flickers does not seem to correlate with bumps or turns. I have had the door module out but I can't get into the electronic portion of it. If I were to buy a used (or new) door module is it plug and play or does it need to be programmed to the car? It could be the wiring to the switch too but that's harder to diagnose. Does anyone know which wires can be jumped or clipped so it always thinks the rear passenger door is closed?

No programming. It is just a latch, lock motor, and the latch position switch and locking position switch.
