Hi All
I've replaced the rotors and pads on my 2013 XC90 and found the two 9mm hex bolts haven't gone back in as far as they were last time. I thought they were more recessed. I checked the other side and they do appear to be. But I've tightened them up pretty tight and doesn't appear to be any movement from the calipers.
Does it look correct in the photos?
Thanks

The calipers will slide on those pins and should true up. The unit is meant to have this movement and the pins are seated and of a fixed length. If you installed them properly you should be fine, if you cross threaded them that is another story or if anything is interfering with them being completely seated. My bet is they will true up once the brakes are used.
Try pumping the brakes a few times and see if they true up correctly.

Thanks. The brakes seem fine. Will check again in a couple of weeks.
