2004 s60 2.5 turbo fwd with a metal fuel tank with the PEM on top of the metal fuel tank. I have it off and have shaken it and it sounds like sand. Now my current problem is that it seems that there are many of these PEMs on the market. But some say they go specifically with a plastic tanks or metal tanks and some ask for a vin number, sooooo how do I know which one will work? If someone could lead me in the right direction as this part is expensive new or used. VIN# YV1RS59V342346187
Thank you so much

How many miles in your S60?
Actually, they are almost the same thing for different years. Not sure why Volvo did this (different PNs) for different models.
I have a PEM which I removed from a junk yard for $25. Look around ebay and just pay attention to which car it came from. Some people remove parts from yj and sell them on ebay to make a living.
My guess is 2003-2006 S60, V70, XC90 PEM should serve your purposes.

$350 bucks new, under $30 from junkyard
I bought a new one just before a big price increase, today I would junkyard it. Its worth cleaning it out, then spraying contact cleaner to see if you can get it working again, that worked for me.
