s70 2000 glt

I need a cvvt hub believe this car only has one.

For the life of me I have gone to multiple parts sites looking for the right one and ones that they say on one site say its not for my car on another site. Does anyone know what the parts number is for s70 2000?

Not the solenoid. The cvvt hub on the timing belt.

This should be what you need. These guys have pretty solid customer service, and several times I've sent them my VIN to confirm exactly what part I needed. I would call to confirm.

How do you know your CVVT hub is shot? Honestly haven't heard of one failing.

They get growly gnarly when they fail. Miy exhaustvone went at about 180,000

I am also getting a growly gnarly, traces of oil in timing area, check engine on( timing). I have yet to take cover off. My volvo mechanic who moonlights from volvo told me to take cover off and start engine when it's cold. If hub is bad should see it have play.

Damn are these hubs expensive.

I drove mine 10,000 miles while growling. No detectable play. The replacement was from a 200k car but that part might be growling again slightly at 50 k more miles later. My timing belt is coming up on schedule so I will hold off till then

Exhaust and intake CVVT hubs are different, I think your 2000 turbo is exhaust only.

I do have a used intake one in my stash.
