Flashing shift arrow

I recently replaced the ABS module on my 1998 v70 glt. Since then the shift arrow on the dash flashes constantly and the S/E/W selector switch on the shifter flashes. The slector switch is stiff and doesn't seem to work now. This started immediately after the module replacement. The transmission shifts fine. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

Was the module a used replacement or a re-built unit? If a rebuilt unit who did the repair? I only recommend our good friend here on MVS Matty Moo who runs Mid-West ABS. He tests the units on a car prior to shipping so I have not had a bad one. Lifetime warranty too.

If you pulled a used one at a junkyard or bought a used one it is likely to be bad too.
