2000 C70 Coupe

Can anyone out there help out with a problem I have with my C70 Coupe? My Turbo although working seems to cut out under load for a couple of seconds , and then back on and off, still whilst under power. So if I decide to overtake, it shoots me out , but then returns to a 2.3 power, and I am now not overtaking for obvious reasons. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
