S60 Instrument cluster compatibility

I have a 2003 S60 with a broken instrument cluster. Will a cluster from a 2006 fit my car? They look exactly the same. Any help would be appreciated.

My 2003 V70 was programmed to the car and wasn’t swappable. I assume yours is the same. I sent mine out to BBA on eBay for repair, less than $200.

No... They're different. I'm assuming. (big risk on my part) that the gauges have "crashed". No lights no instrumentation whatsoever. If that's the case, dial Circuit Board Medic .. they're in the Carolina's and can repair it for about 200$ with about a 2 day turn around... MDK

Also, there are services like this and this for Volvo.
If you have good experience with soldering chips, you can fix it yourself also.

Thank you for all the replies. I am going to give fixing it myself a go. I watched a few decent instructional videos on youtube and It doesn't look too bad. Thanks again.
