Codes p0026 &p0027 and warm idle clacking noise

Codes p0026 &p0027 and warm idle clacking noise

A couple days ago my 2006 XC90 2.5T started making a horrible clacking or loud tapping noise when at an idle. I checked the oil, and added some because it was at the lower end of the stick, but the clacking continued. One day later both the p0026 & p0027 codes appeared at the same time.

Here is a video of the cold idle vs warm idle noise:

Details:
- The performance has not degraded at all... If you plugged your ears, you would not no the difference
- The clacking only starts when the engine is warm
- When you rev the motor 200-300 rpm the clacking goes away even when warm
- P0026 & 27 codes popped at the same time
- Also attached pic of oil filter.

The only thing I have done so far is to do an oil/filter change. The oil was dirty, and ready to be changed but not to any extreme. I have not really driven it since then. I was hoping to get some advice first.

Can anyone provide some direction here? I am not sure if I should drive it at all, and am unsure how to proceed from here.

Those are timing codes. When did you have your timing belt last changed?

I saw this posting. i have not had any oil usage issue, so I wasn't sure this was the same deal. Having said that I was wondering if you could clarify a couple things in this posting:
Just wanted to close this out. I had a failed PCV hose from the valve cover to the box. I replaced the entire system including water cooled hose that runs back to the turbo inlet. I believe the clatter was due to loss of oil pressure at the VVT hubs after it pumped 2+ quarts out. I think the cam position codes were related too since it's oil controlled. It's a labor intensive job but it's running great at the moment. Codes are gone, noise is gone and it passes the "rubber glove on the oil fill" test. I also changed all 5 engine mounts and got rid of a thump that I was getting as well.
Can someone clarify the BOLD pieces in the quote above for me?
1.) What "entire system" is he referring to?
2.) The labor "intensive job" ... can someone clarify what exactly the job entailed?
