I purchase Napa 2-260017 for $89.00
Steps:
1) Removed fuel pump fuse ( #22 under glove compartment)
2) Turned over engine a few times to reduce pressure in system
3) Detached battery & covered terminal
4) Remove engine cover
5) FPS is on right side of fuel rail. Place rags under sensor to catch excess gas
6) Usef torx 25 key to remove bolt holding sensor. Hard to see & tight fit. This was the hardest part - getting the key into the small space and snug into the bolt.
7) remove sensor and detach wiring clip
reverse steps to install.9) Enable ignition w/o starting & confirm no pressure leaks
10) Start car & confirm no pressure leaks.
Took about 45 minutes & saved about $400 over dealer quote.
Also found it interesting that there was a recall in 2004 for the same FPS (same part #). When I asked the dealer about it they replied that it was probably a 'bad batch' of sensors and the recall only applied to 2004 model years (or something - it is Recall 181). I find it strange that there would be a recall for a particular part from 2004 but they would continue to use the same Bosch \ Volvo part number.
