If car starts after fuel relay is removed, sounds like engine is flooded. Have you tried trying to start car with gas pedal all of the way down to the floor to prove this?

If it is flooded, it is usually leaking injectors. How quickly does fuel pressure fall after you stop cranking and you have it up to full pressure? Also, you can take plugs out and cycle ignition between 0 and 2 only (not pos 3 where it cranks) to get fuel pressure up. Look down cylinders for fuel, your not supposed to have any leaking in there if you haven't cranked engine.
