Hi all! I'm looking for a recommendation on what to do with this classic car!

This bad boy has 106,250 miles on him and has his fair share of nicks, dings, and minor bruises. The right front sidemarker assembly lens is missing and sometimes starts in 3rd gear on extended drives.

Is there any Volvo enthusiast that would fix this guy up? I'd love for it to go into good hands instead of trading it in!

It’s a pretty cheap project buy with a transmission problem as described, like scrap value of $250

It’s a $500 and 20 hour project to deal with that, so you need the person who has some free time on their hands

I would try to find the person who wants to tackle that , let them tackle it without risking the $250 unless it pans out , in one month, to move it. You can get the scrap value less tow anytime

If a prospect wants to know where to find a replacement marker light, Rock Auto had them at least until several years ago when I last bought one. You need to specify 93 because the front profile is different for later models. I think they were priced around $15.00.

Mine looks like yours, has around 200k miles, still runs well, has some clearcoat and paint failure. I like the color. When it's wet after a wash it still gleams in a bright sun. Your miles are pretty low for a 93 and that engine was a solid performer, should have plenty of years left in it with a little TLC.
