Auxiliary Issues 2009 Volvo C70

Hi everyone!

Apologies if this format is incorrect, but I am having issues with the auxiliary system in my 2009 Volvo C70. I have a 9mm headphone jack plugged into the center console and until now it has worked fine, however recently it seems that it is not reading my phone anymore. What I mean by this is that in the display, whenever I have music playing there is the word “AUX” directly in the middle, to show that’s the source of the music. However, now there is no “AUX” in the middle and I am unable to listen to music or listen to the radio. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Thanks!

I had this same problem and just thought the problem was the band AUX broke up - they had an incredible span of genres, Im guessing their egos got in the way.

On edit - I checked, and they are still together!

Sounds like the stereo head is dead - will it play my second favorite group, the FMs, or the after band to the BGs, the CDs?
