Greetings,
I have the rear interior out of my 2002 V70 X/C for some stereo upgrades. The electronic control module located in the rear drivers side of the car, has a relay that keeps clicking on and off; relay is located in the top left position of the control module ( I would post a picture if I could figure out how). Anyone know what the relay controls? The only trouble code VIDA is recording is the AUM or audio module, which I have modified to accept a new stereo head unit. I do not believe the 2 issues are related, but could be wrong.
Relay activating Topic is solved

I truly appreciate the advice on how to post a picture, but I can not Find the Full Editor & Preview to start. Can you point me in the right direction?

Mike, 'Full Editor & Preview' is shown just south of the text box I'm just typing into ('quick reply').
Try to obtain the wiring diagram online, it has the names and functions of all the relays. If you cannot find it send me a message.
The topmost relay in the left row of the REM (rear electronics module) should not be there (empty socket). The next is RMI16, intermittent rear window wiping on/off.
This is followed by RMI17 (CNG related, presumably empty socket also).
Hope this helps, any detail you can provide would of course be useful to narrow this down.

Thank you; it seems obvious once you know what to look for!

Thanks again. It was RMI16, it stopped when I turned off the rear wiper. I have a new wiper arm and blade ready for installation, which is why I did not notice. Found the editor also!
