Had 1991 740, 940 and now 2004 V70.
Looking for opinions on the 3rd GEN. V70
How much has Fords input improved/screwed things up?
Reliability?
Likes/dislikes
Are the seats as comfy?

It's about as reliable. Since they're newer they'll be somewhat more reliable now. Chassis parts don't need replacing as often for example.
Rusts slightly easier. There's a strip above the windshield where rock strikes easily cause rust.
Seats are a step down in my opinion. Shorter seats, flatter backs. But they're still much better than most.
