I am having an issue with the door latch not locking (grabbing) onto the catch in the door jamb. Door will just swing open/close. The door locks work fine with the key fob and buttons so I don't think that is the issue. Perhaps something has come undone in the mechanism? I moved the latch to the closed position and pulled the door handle, nothing happened and I found it easy to push it back to the open position.
Any suggestions? And, If I need to take it to be repaired would you recommend a mechanical repair shop or body shop?
