Few months back, when I step harder on the gas to overtake a car, I tend to, sometimes, have a small hesitation.
The issue started getting more noticeable. Few weeks ago, it just stalled. With the ignition, the engine will turn but
won't start. Battery is ruled out.
FUEL PRESSURE READING
I connected a gauge to the rail at the valve and turned the engine (since the car would not start).
Here's my reading. What would that mean, though it's above the 40psi requirement.
I am trying to troubleshoot the car not starting anymore.
Months back, it hesitates when applying more acceleration, then, it starts stalling, then it gave up.

ECM TESTING
Plugged in the VIDA and got this (Video).
I had to edit the video to increase the audio volume level.
By the way, the Turbo Valve has a thumping sound but not loud enough to hear.
Hope I did good enough here.
Thanks again everyone for helping me here.

Check/replace the crankshaft sensor. If this gives a faulty reading, the ECU will halt the car as a safety measure (prevent fire)

Mmmm, very logical point. That never crossed my mind. Googled and found a sensor can be tested with a multimeter, would the testing also apply for the 2001 X/C?
Thank you.

I have no idea to be honest (I'm more of a mechanical guy as opposed to electrical). I wouldn't even bother and replace it straightaway, but that's me personally

I tried the remote fob 5-time presses but don't know if that made it start.
Now the car will start. I am going to post a new message of the current situation now still under this original title.

For the Immobilizer See Manual, two days ago and yesterday, I did one of the tricks to possibly clear the Immobilizer See Manual error. Press the fob OPEN and CLOSE five times and then start the car. Then the car started. Don't know if that was what made it start.
This morning at home, it started with the remote with the Check Engine light on. On my way to work, went to Lowes. From Lowes, the Check Engine light went off then two minutes later, at a stop light, I noticed the little hesitation and a little dimming of the dash light. When I restart the car, it surges a little bit from 750RPM to about 1,200RPM while the light dims a little.
Mass Air Flow issue? Alternator issue?
Please help!
