2003 S60 Blowing #24 Fuse

Post by Seawaif3 » Sat Sep 28, 2019 11:40 am

Hello Volvo Experts,

I have a 2003 Volvo S60 that the instrument cluster failed ( after a mechanic worked on it) . The cluster was pulled out and shipped out for a rebuild.
Upon return and installation of the cluster I still have no dash lights. In addition, now the driver side power seat is dead and the climate control is out.

I have traced the failure to the #24 fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box assembly. However, when the 10amp fuse is replaced - blows immediately.
All other systems work, sunroof, courtesy lights, engine powers up, headlights, taillights etc.

Where upstream in the electrical would be causing this #24 fuse to blow?
Please Help*** I can't take the car to a mechanic, because the seat wont move and I'm too short to reach the pedals.

Thanks in advance for your reply!!
