xc60 oil trap (PCV) replacement

My engine was showing a code intermittently. I can't hear any squeal but there is a definite vacuum when I pull the dipstick or try to remove the oil cap. The dipstick line hisses when I pull it out. So, I'm going to replace the Oil Trap (PCV). The Mechanic wants $450 for this, including 2 hours labor. It looks like a straight forward job, though.

Has anybody done this themselves?
Did you replace with OEM or aftermarket part?
