XC 90 Radio Ga Ga

I have had my 2005 xc 90 for two years. There exists a problem with the radio auto searching on its own but only when the temperature is below 60 degrees F. In warm weather there is no problem This has happened last winter as well as at this time. Dealer just states it is a software problem and downloads something into the radio but the problem just persists. Any ideas?

You have an '05. This means it's under warranty, right? They're suppose to fix the problem. Take it back to the dealer and complain loudly. If no solution, then ask to speak to the service manager. 4 strikes and "they're out." A "lemon" radio...you should be able to have a free replacement radio on their tab. If they don't oblige, then go higher to the regional rep.
