2004 S60 Volvo with a steel fuel pump...

So this question is in regards to my 2004 S60 Volvo my dad is currently working on fixing...apparently the fuel pump in my car is steel and only a few were made with the steel fuel pumps. Hes not sure what kind of nuts he would need to hold this fuel pump base on with...any experience or suggestions please?

If you have fuel delivery problems, you need to test/replace the FPS sensor and the PEM module in the first place (search with Google on forums). You also may find several informative Youtube videos on these. Unlike on many other cars, the fuel pump is actually very rarely in cause on the S60

Get the part numbers of the parts involved and post them up. You’ve got some bad information there.

Steel full tanks are a rarer option that change some things , but not pumps
