cooling fan running time on a 2000 C70 HT 2.3

I can start my car and let it run for a matter of seconds and the engine cooling fan still comes on, my question is that normal, and if so how long should it run because mine runs for more than a minute or 2 i believe. I will time it then report back It just seems excessive for it to run 2 or 3 minutes or more when the car is only on for a matter of seconds. I am trying to find and resolve any and all electrical issues i am having.I will report all my findings and what fixed it back here to help other so thanks for any help you guys!
