I have now had my 98 V70 for almost a month and traded my 01 for it. No regrets. One fuse, two relays all of which is in the engine compartment fuse box.
Fuse #13, relays 2/90 & 2/91.

I am putting my daughters Volvo back together after an accident, and find two two-pin female connectors that don't seem to have a place to connect. One is just behind the driver's-side fender and the other is adjacent to it on the engine side. Both are short, so would connect to something in the vicinity of the left headlight. Any idea? This is a non-turbo and no fog lights.

My 2001 v70 xc has the same connectors, also not connected to anything. sorry, conflating two different things.
it's a fuel driven heater hookup for climate/comfort
unrelated to engine block heater in earlier models
