98 v70 front turn signal and rear fog light wiring

Post by CIK7 » Tue Oct 29, 2019 6:41 pm

There are 3 wires that make up the harness for the front turn signals. There's white, black, and green. I assumed I could just use the black and white but my LED strips aren't turning on, and the clicking is fast as though there's a bulb out. I found out the green is for the flashing or something like that. Can I connect the green to the red to make this work?
And I'd like to find out what the 4 or 5 wires on the rear fog light (brake light) are for.

If you have a 98-00 V70, interested in getting 'interior remodeling' ideas, PM me. I used software to design some woodwork I want to refit my XC with. Satin nickel on dark walnut with shag.
