Put everything back together and it ran like crap. Had vibration at Idle. After letting it sit coupe of hours, it ran fine. On the cam gears next!

I finally got everything done. I did cleaned up the PCV system first and then installed junk yard VVT gear. So far no leak. Will see how long it last. I did install new cam seals. I looked in to the Volvo cam locking tool and did not care for it. I made my own tool and it worked great.

NOTE: do NOT use Aluminum, it will break as the DIYer, use steel:

I seriously doubt even steel flat stock would work with over 85 ft-lbs of torque. I made mine out of tool steel on lathe and then milled the slots. I did not even need the bolt to hold in place since I could not find 7mm bolt anywhere.
