2001 Volvo V70 T5M T5 M

Post by BritGuy » Mon Nov 04, 2019 6:46 am

Hi all, I was curious as to whether anyone there had experience fitting 215/60 16" winter tires to 7Jx16 ET49 rim on a 2001 V70 T5M and if any wheel arch interference occurred ? The standard I understand to have a 55 aspect ratio. I've scoured the web for an answer to this to no avail..Peter

No experience with your proposal, but the standard (base) was 215/55-16. The optional tire size was 235/45-17. The optional does rub with the standard turning radius. Going with a 215/60-16 might look "out of place" for a T5. The 235/45-17's looks great. I'd think a 215/60-16 would be better suited for an XC70.
