Rear Wiper Arm & Rear light Bulb

Hello all. I have two questions on different topics in one here and I hope that is acceptable by my moderator. if not, let me know and I will accept my punishment. :oops:

A) I need to replace a broken rear wiper arm but I am not sure how to get the broken one off. It looks simple enough as I can visibly see the nut although access seems difficult. Any thoughts on this fix?

B) I have tried to get what they call the left rear fog light bulb to work again but thus far after buying several bulbs none light up yet. The old burned out bulb is imprinted with a "7506" on it and the last bulb I bought was a "1156" which is supposed to be the same bulb. Is my bulb holder shot or hopefully it is not the flexible mylar circuit board.

A)
1. Fold up the cover
2. Remove the nut
3. Detach the arm and blade.
Note: there are two different rear wiper arms. Which one you need depends on your chassis number.

B)
7506 and 1156 are very similar but they aren't identical. They are functionally interchangeable. If the base of the 1156 is plain brass instead nickel-plated,coat the sides of the base with silicone dielectric grease or Vaseline. It helps prevent galvanic corrosion.

I was afraid to pull up too much on that wiper cover. Got it now.
On the bulb issue, I just ordered two "7506" bulbs from Amazon which would be a direct match to what was originally in the bulb holder. If that doesn't work what is my next step? New/used bulb holder?

I would check relay 2/49. Find a point where the circuit is working then work down stream from there.

Put your finger on 2/49 (Rear Fog Light Relay) have somebody switch the rear Fog Light on and off. Is the Relay clicking?
