There is just one hose that goes directly to the top of the PTC and it is the hose from that long 90 degree hose assembly from the breather box. There are a couple of small vacuum lines that enter the turbo intake tube very near the PTC on their own nipples, but not connected to the PTC directly. Are these the ones you are thinking of?
Scroll down and see the PTC diagram. It shows a large and small vacuum line. I believe the small one was clogged on mine. It's been awhile.

Mine is set up a little differently - there is the larger hose on top but nothing on the back of the PTC itself as in the diagram.

I see a bump. Has that been closed off on your car?

I believe so - I saw the bump you are referring to but there was nothing on it.

Sorry, I think they did do away with that fitting there.

I've never heard of a "PCV Glove Test" under load, only familiar with the glove test on the oil fill at idle. Are you seeing any new oil leaks on the engine?

If you are confident that you replaced the system correctly, I'd carry on as if it's repaired and only monitor for new leaks.
I feel I completed the job correctly but am not sure what to look at next if in fact this is a problem.
Can you see if the 2.5T is the same and if you may have missed something?

Yes, it is very similar - the fuel rail is a little different but the process was the same on mine, and all associated fittings and hoses for the breather box were the same - it doesn't appear I have missed anything on these components, thanks!

Could there be a vacuum leak and have no codes? When you are accelerating maybe a cracked / loose hose or leak somewhere is bringing air into the intake manifold rather than removing it from the crankcase.

VTL & a few others have posted about this before - glove testing at varying RPM’s & loads. I know he is a firm believer in replacing the expensive pipe that runs from the top of the breather box/oil trap back to the turbo. I personally have only done 4-5 of the PCV system’s & I've never replaced that upper ($175) pipe. I’ve always just checked it to verify it isn’t blocked down near the nipple & none I’ve encountered have been so have always just replaced the nipple & have never had an issue. I’m in no way saying he’s wrong (because he rarely is), just that it could be a possibility.

Pretty much any turbo gasser is gonna have blow by, but I’d think that would be more than normal in your case, if blow by is the culprit.

Did you drop your oil pan at all?
