Head Removal s70 glt
I'm in the process of removing the head on an s70 glt, and I've removed all necessary bolts (to my knowledge), but the head is being stubborn and doesn't want to come off. All intake and exhaust manifold bolts have been removed. intake manifold has been removed. stabilizer mount bolts have been removed. cam cover and head bolts have been removed. Am I missing any? or do I just have to muscle it off? I feel as though it shouldn't be this stuck on there.

They get pretty stuck, you have to kind of force it loose Use the aluminum tabs built into the head and block, to get them separated. But be careful about mating surfaces and to not damage the aluminum. Once you break loose the head gasket you can lift it out.
Also did you get the water pipe bolts on the back, near the timing belt?

are you referring to the coolant pipe going to the turbo? if so, that line isn't connected to the head at all. If not, maybe I missed one. could you send a reference pic?

No it's a bit lower than the turbo coolant line - this coolant pipe is there on both NA and turbo models, since they use the same casting, of course.
Two 10 mm bolts, they screw right into the head, see the post by jdchillin and gasket #15 on the parts diagram on this thread: viewtopic.php?t=73186
