I've just purchased a 2016 XC70. It has roof rails, but no cross bars. I found that P3 cars have different part number for the cross bars (31454714) than P2 cars (31250201).
Out of curiosity I took off the cross bars from my 2001 V70 X/C and tried mounting them on 2016 XC70 - they seem to fit fine. Does anyone have experience with such usage? Conversely, does anyone know what is the difference between P2 and P3 cross bars?
