Stupid Immobilizer see manual

Hi, I have a 2005 s40 turbo AWD.
I bought it not running. Mistake. It has the immobilizer message. I can't get a scan tool or Vida to read the car. I tested the CAN system to the Cem. It reads 60 ohms. I can't remember from working on other can systems. .. should it be 120 ohms ? Can someone please test their system at the OBD plug with an ohm meter ?

Without DiCE, I do not think you can get some useful info from that car.

CAN has two 120Ω, one at each end. 1/ ( 1/120Ω + 1/120Ω) = 60Ω.

I do have Vida dice. i got the program working on a laptop on a VM... it recognizes the dice tool.... but will not read the car, it gives me the
"not possible to read out information....."
i'm trying to figure that out right now. i've installed the program with no internet on, firewalls down, ect....
anyone fix this issue ?

Check your VM configuration and and make sure USB 2.X is installed in the VM.

Some VMs do not support USB 2.X by default, you need to add USB 2.X support to the configuration.
