Install drivers kick panel.

Hi guys i took of panel and on top right upper end of the piece is a flat looking part, I'm trying to figure out if it goes over or underneath white part it attaches to. Trying to find a picture. But its a 2006 volvo s60 2.5t. And i wanna say the kick panel rest flat part to flat part but there is a little play that way, and when i put it over the white part it doesn't fit right. I'm trying to find a picture...

Took a picture. Do u see the white piece and the black piece how do they connect. Does it just rest flush flat to flat or is il the black part go on top of the white part. I think its flat to flat but like I said there was a little play so I folded up a paper and stuck it between. The other pic is of the entire part.

You can actually see through the hole right under the steering wheel, and see the part I'm talking about. If someone can look for me And see if its just resting flat or on top of the white slanted part.

PS I just watched a video and I saw a foam pad on the white part so it must be flat to flat with that foam in the middle but mine obviously fell out. I think that's how it goes with eve foam right? Pretty much where I stick that folded piece of paper. U can see it in the screen shot of a video on YouTube the white part with the pad.
