I'm ready to buy some blades for my 98 V70 and 99 S70. I believe I have seen online and it seems to me looking at the car that the left and right front blades have to be two different sizes. Like maybe a 21 and a 19.

What's the general opinion on this?

Yes they're different. Don't remember lengths though but a couple of cm difference so 20+21 or 19+21 is probably on point.

I've just been buying the Volvo ones for our P80's from FCP the past couple of years. I think they're the same length in that set, but I haven't fretted over it.

Just recently bought new sets and sent the old ones back for their "Lifetime Warranty". Doesn't make them free, but when it's all said and done, it's 50-75% of the cost back.

We've had no problems with them.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure I used different ones on my 850s as well. But I could definitely be wrong or I did without having an actual reason to do so.

I ordered a pair that comes with 20 and 21. Apparently, the wiper mfg with detailed OEM info say 20 for 1998 and 21 for 1999. I'm still pretty sure I saw somewhere that the left should be 21 and the right 20. I also recall seeing the right hand wiper being too long and loosing contact with the glass. I'll report back when the new blades arrive.

I run 21" on both sides my 95. I actually think you could fit 22" if you wanted the extra wipe.

Don't know that I've ever heard of two different sizes on P80s... I have 2x 21" on my V70.
