Would a motor from a 53 vin but a 01 fit!!
Without any problems!
Once i order the engine it would be hard to return.
Any and all advise would be appreciated.

I would wonder if that would work. The 01-02 had a few different things, including a different throttle body. The 04-up also had quite a few changes such as a new CEM, different T belt tensioner, etc. The question would be if the engine management (ECU) was the same. There aren't may people who know about these, just hope the right person will see your post. By even then, I would be a little nervous to buy an engine with only an online recommendation. Keep in mind that these have PCV problems, hard to know if the donor car had it serviced properly.

Oragex
Thx for the heads up.
I know it has a diff t belt system.
With the type that needs the tool to keep it fromspringing bac.
So i think i am going to wait for the right one from an 04
Safer that way.
Thx a million.
