Reverse parking sensors
New to my family is a green V70 2.5T, on the rear of the car is what seems to be parking sensors. The previous owner was very vague with everything that was said and I took it as is. Because all the small faults like the door handle not opening, lights and dents I could fix. The parking sensors don't work but I've looked for where it would link into but I'm not sure. Some of the parts have been professionally repainted to make the car look whole. By the previous owner, I'm not quite sure what models or years came with that feature or if it was just added in. I'm also experiencing high idles far past the normal rpm when I start the car. Could it also be the throttle body going out?

At cold start up the idle goes to 1700rpm for 30 sec to heat up the cat converter and prime the brake booster. Parking sensor was quite rare option, perhaps only needs a used sensor, maybe off Ebay ?

Park Assist is an option not standard equipment.

Typical abscate wisdom here.When this feature is turned on, the radio display will say: "park assist aktive"
I thought at first that this is a gimmick, but I have come to appreciate it a lot and use it all the time.
