Accessory Bushing R&R

Post by faof2 »

1991 Volvo 240 141,000 miles. I am planning to change the original factory accessory bushings
(alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor) at the same time that I change the timing belt.
Does each accessory take the same bushings? How many total bushings are needed? Is there a certain brand recommended? Looks like I can remove the P/S pump and the alternator and do those on the workbench. Not sure about the A/C compressor. Can the A/C bushings be changed while the compressor is in the car? Any tips from someone who has recently completed this job?

Volvo Accessory Bushing (alternator, p/s pump, a/c compressor) - Genuine Volvo 463909, if you got the funds...otherwise, get lowest priced ones.
