Hello All,
On opening the front door this morning, I felt and heard the door drop off the body. With the door open I can jiggle the door on the bottom hinge pin an inch or so at the door end so a fraction of an inch at the hinge pin. Is there a collar that has gone ? I see the 6 point grub screw is missing too on that hinge pin too , but expect that just keeps the door from lifting. The Volvowebstore just shows a pin with no packing and I can’t see any great wear.
Any ideas or do I have to order a new hinge/pin plate, and if so which side, body or door?
Next step might be to compare pins with calipers. But would rather not remove doors if there still is a broken packer in there that Id never get back in...

Should have spent the 10 mins to check...
Looks like the grub screws are there to retain and also allow door gap adjustment. Plenty of Loctite to hold in its position if a few threads backed out. Stole one from the rear door. Will have to find a grub screw to replace that one now.
I Didn’t think those screws did any more than retain - The old adage -never assume ...
