B5234T replacing a B5254S?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

B5234T replacing a B5254S?

Post by Rodrigo Amaral »

Hello folks!

Is it possible to put a B2534T engine in a '95 850 SW originally equipped with the B5254S engine?
What parts do I have to replace? ECU?
What are the main differences between non-turbo and turbo (non T5R) cars?
Thanks!

You could but you'll need a new ECU, intercooler piping, a turbo (as you probably have figured) and possibly a different transmission, but not sure on that... Check out the message board on www.volvospeed.com (mods section) as there are those doing exactly what you asked about over there.
