'95 850 SRS 2-3-2 seatbelt tensioner drivers side

Post by wheelsup »

A few days ago my shift lock failed and I must depress the button to move the gear selector. This is nothing new as it existed that way for several years then all of a sudden it "fixed" itself last year. But a few days ago it happened again. Then a few days later I get an SRS light for 2-3-2 which is the drivers tensioner.

So I cannot find a wiring diagram but did find some instructions and have accomplished this so far (see pics).

I ohmed the tensioner wire from the plug to the crash box connector and the four plugs in the middle get around 2-5 ohms depending on the side I am checking at the connector by the tensioner itself.

Thoughts? I'm not good at electrical and really am out of my element here.
