If air isn't coming through it's the air flow that's clogged and flushing the coolant won't do much.
Now if air was coming through but there was little heat the coolant flush would be a reasonable thing to do.

Re: No heat and little air coming from the vents
Yes I did calibrated the CCM, it reported back no dtc codes stored, which I found odd given the VIDA read-out.
It Is starting fairly quick and consistent. no more then a couple of turns.
This was the first read out after a couple of months, my son has driven the car last year and has moved out.
Wheel speed sensor errors, maybe because the front axle bolts where loose and I suspect a wheel bearing going bad on the rh side. I think rh rear.
I have led lights as parking lights, they cause this error
But on my C30 I have a battery drain issue due to the rdar unit. And a have similar CCM codes among other things.
To be sure a have hooked the car up to a battery tender.

Thanks for making all the information available. I guess I need to order these part and are now 3 Volvo downchris11211 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 1:19 pm I'd definitely say it's clogged.I've tried most of the stuff you did; even did a heater core flush a few times to no avail.
Not sure how far north you are, or if you got a warm garage to do this. But you are gonna have to do a coolant flush if you didn't already; a new heater core, two pipe clamps, and two o-rings for it.

Id also follow peppermint's video on the heater core, and I'd add that you should spray silicone lube on the o-rings and see if you can disconnect the pipes from the firewall. Not a hard job at all.

Re: No heat and little air coming from the vents
There's no way air passages of a heater core can be clogged while A/C evaporator - not. Air flow goes through the evaporator first and then through the heater core (if the climate system is set to heat).
With the temperature knob set to the coldest, try to redirect flow to legs/body/head. Do you get any strong air flow in any position?
Also can you pull the cabin filter's cover and actually verify that you get any strong air output from the fan?

I agree, I made the wrong conclusion based on coolant temperature in and out. I did not check the cold settings to verify the air flow. It does improve with setting it to cold. I did compare the flow with our XC70. It feels similar. And a ran the fan with the cover of the cabin filter and filter removed.vtl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 8:19 pmThere's no way air passages of a heater core can be clogged while A/C evaporator - not. I did try all 3 settings and it does flow when set to cold. But as soon as the auto button is activated the fan stops.
I had a plugged front and rear heater core on our Ford Windstar way back. After flushing it with a garden hose black wool like stuff came out . After flushing the heater cores the heat worked again. There was no relationship with the fan speed.

Ok, this is something.
What do you see for the ambient and cabin temperature in VIDA? And what the actual temperatures?

Re: No heat and little air coming from the vents
Yesterday I was able to work a little on the car;
-Installed a new cabin filter and verified function of the blower. Seems okay based on the amount of airflow.
-Removed the ccm and verified the fan of the cabin temperature sensor is running( left electric connections in place)
-the air flow through vents reduces greatly when the flow to windshield is activated. While the flow coming from these vents is small.
- the heat has improved, not sure what contributed, but still not great.
-Calibrated the Ccm with Vida.
-Did the read out in Vida and the cabin air temperature rises quickly. Which leads me to believe this may be the root cause of this problem. Attached 2 screen shots from Vida, showing cabin temperature at max.
