Trans leak through AWD Collar

A few months ago, I replaced my AWD collar and both of the RH transmission seals due to a leaking RH axle output seal. Now I am leaking there again, it has been a slow leak, and lately, we have had a real cold snap for 2 weeks (-25C as a high), and the leak has really increased. I am wondering if its possible the leak is coming through the splines on the transmission and AWD collar? I see Volvo uses an o-ring to seal this, and the dealer says they never change it, so I didn't. I did use grease on the splines when I replaced it.

Could be the o-ring was nicked on fitting or is defective. When a dealer says they never replace it, is that still holding true for a 20+ year old car?

Regardless of the source of fluid, it should not travel pass the seal, unless. The drive axle seals work best if made by Volvo or CORTECO. Did the seal seat properly?

Seals were Volvo, they didvseat properly. Original leak was from the axle seal, looks to have been damaged from installing the axle. I made sure not to do that.

Either the seal was reversed/flipped when installing OR system way overfilled, else...

what seals?
