Xc60 blower motor
Xc60 blower motor
I have looked on here for info on my xc60 blower failing after being terrified about dismantling the interior of the car I was having a poke around and got mine working by poking it with a stick! Not very technical but did the job! I removed the battery cover looked through the bulkhead where the air intakes for the blower are and there were the fins of the blower so I got my rods out of my electrical kit and pushed it through to the fins gave it a push and it worked! Just an idea if your trying out ways to turn it without dismantling. Cheers

Could you post a picture of what you did? Or what cover you removed? I must be misunderstanding; I took the battery cover off and couldn't see a thing lol

on RH drive models that area is different. On LH drive models you remove the cowl cover (the panel the wipe arm shafts poke through in front of windshield) and with recirc off the blower wheel will be visible and reachable.

I see- I'll give that a shot. I was just removing literally only the part covering the battery, but it sounds like more of the cover needs to be removed.
